Chieri's Father is one of the minor characters in the AKB0048 anime series. He is the CEO of Zodiac Corporation and the father of Chieri Sono.

He has purple-blue hair and dark brown eyes.

Personality

He is greedy and has a mysterious personality. He is always seen in his office wearing a red coat and black shirt. He will do anything to claim power over AKB0048.

Plot

In Episode 20, he had given Mii-chan the opportunity to try to bring the Center Novae back by getting a member to become a Center Nova to open the portal. However, that was not his gain from the offer. His gain was an attempt to capture the power of the Center Nova, Kirara, and Dualium for military purposes.

By the end of Episode 24, as soon as Chieri finished singing to show him her radiance, he was shot, thus killing him.

• From the events in Episode 20, it was possible that Mikako Minamino is working undercover for him and Zodiac Corporation, but later on in Episode 21, she realizes that he had other motives and double-crossed her.
• In Episode 24, Chieri reveals that even when his wife died, and even when his son died, he never came home because he was so busy with work.
• According to Nagisa's father, Chieri's father is a lonely man.
• By the end of Episode 24, he was assassinated.
• It is revealed in Episode 26 that his grave is placed near Zodiac Corporation's headquarters on Sagittariusstar.
